Position Purpose: The Director of Quality has the authority and responsibility of managing the Company’s Quality Control Department activities. The Director of Quality develops manual policies and administers inspection procedures to ensure that all aircraft used in air transportation are properly certified and maintained in an airworthy condition and in accordance with approved Operations Specifications, Federal Aviation Regulations, and Company policies and procedures.



  • Leads the Quality Department consisting of: QA/QC Inspectors, Quality Administrators, RII Inspectors, and Parts Department.
  • Responsible of repair station, additional fixed location, repair station manuals, QC manual , forms and training manual and ensuring the facility is following the requirements.
  • Maintain requirements of FAA, EASA
  • Maintain repair station records.
  • Assists in the recruiting and hiring process.
  • Responsible for “Managed Aircraft” due lists and proposals.
  • Member of the Safety Board.
  • Perform new hire In-doc training.
  • Set up AMT awards for the repair station.
  • Ensure training records and training events are scheduled.
  • Perform recurrent training for employees as required.
  • Ensure OJT forms are filled out correctly.
  • Work with project managers resolving conflicts.
  • Perform QA/QC Inspector and Quality personal reviews.


  • Possess an A&P License.
  • 10 or more years of aviation experience, minimum 5 years in quality assurance / quality management system, drug program, manual writing, comprehensive or knowledge of quality system related function (military experience in A./Q.C. acceptable).

The Quality Inspector reports to the Chief Inspector. The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all airworthiness requirements, for the article being maintained or altered, have been met.


  •  Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the work scope of assigned aircraft
  •  Verify the Inspection Program is applicable to the assigned aircraft
  •  Ensure FAA approved data is being used for major repairs and alterations on assigned aircraft
  •  Compute weight and balance on assigned aircraft as required
  •  Provide accurate and correct aircraft maintenance records entries on assigned aircraft
  •  Ensure all paperwork and documentation for aircraft maintenance and alteration is complete and accurate and that Corrective Action completely clears the discrepancy
  • Provide final inspection and approval for Return to Service (RTS) on assigned aircraft
  • Performs the Preliminary, Hidden Damage, and In-Process Inspections
  • Inspects for airworthiness and quality of aircraft maintenance and alterations
  • Provides “OK to Install” and “Installation OK” for aircraft component parts
  • Familiar with all applicable 14 CFR and the RSM/QCM
  • No Quality Inspector may perform his/her inspection duties on any maintenance that has been accomplished by him/her


  • Possess an A&P License.
  • University diploma preferred.
  • 5 or more years of aviation experience, minimum 3 years in quality assurance / quality management system, drug program, manual writing, comprehensive or knowledge of quality system related function (military experience in A./Q.C. acceptable).
  •  Experience conducting audits through knowledge of quality auditing processes and practices
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
  • Knowledge of federal and industry regulations such as FAA, OSHA, and EPA and knowledge of applicable FARs.
  • Possess skills in Microsoft Office applications

Program Manager: OPF

Job description: The program manager will oversee quality of workmanship that assures maintenance accomplished meets standards for serviceability and support of BAM customers. The program manager has aircraft maintenance experience in the development and implementation of plans, organizational management and control, and the direction of all technician personnel activities. The individual must be technically knowledgeable and possess leadership and management skills with a demonstrated track record in adapting to change and the ability to respond to challenges in a changing work environment.


  • Serve as customer primary point-of-contact in communicating, coordinating, and follow-up for items such as time/labor/material quotes, preliminary invoices, progress updates, customer approval and debrief on work packages, resolution of squawks, and warranty issues.
  • Perform Project Management duties for multiple aircraft to include identification of potential risks and management of constraints.
  • Pre-plan, develop and maintain schedule through aircraft delivery and follow-up.
  • Monitor and oversee workflow to ensure work package is on schedule and within budget. Ensure that work is performed in accordance with Site Inspection Procedures Manual, Site Operating Procedures and FARs.
  • Facilitate status meetings with all departments and shops; update daily reports on status of aircraft and report to Operations Manager.
  • Return aircraft to service after maintenance.
  • Coordinate special programs with Project Support Team, (i.e., Smart Parts, ESP, MSP, Honeywell, and Warranty.)
  • Review, approve, and sign final customer invoice as needed, (i.e., review margin analysis, warranty negotiations, and revision of service orders (SVOs).
  • Perform post work package activities, (i.e., customer follow-up calls, resolve customer issues after departure, review invoice and margins, set-up outsides sales for parts not received, and send parts/supplies to customer).
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding facility financial objectives on all projects.


  • Must have a current FAA Airframe & Power plant certificate.
  • Five (5) years relevant experience.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or individually, efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, autonomous and enthusiastic.
  • Should possess excellent written and verbal communications and human relations skills.
  • Must demonstrate experience in taking leadership roles.
  • Ability to work co-operatively across functional departments and you are a self-starter with the ability to analyze situations and make appropriate decisions.
  • Working knowledge of finance and strong willingness to learn business finance.
  • Must have computing skills and be proficient in MS Office.

This position is responsible for the placement of purchase orders, coordinating delivery schedules, ensuring a quality product, negotiation of pricing for materials and services, fulfillment of parts orders, maintaining tool control, preparing parts for shipping and/or receiving incoming shipments utilizing subordinate personnel and company. Purchase materials required by the facility. Stock supply vending machine. Track and organize calibration certificates and data entry into Corridor as well as a back-up Excel file. Set up on site calibration / send items to calibration facility for calibration outside of bi-annual calibration cycle Organize tooling, make sure all tooling is in proper condition, set up tooling repairs as required. Set up repair and overhaul with appropriate facilities. Monitor cost/profit of parts, freight, and all related materials. Handle all issues related with uniforms. Prepare outside sales quotes, sales orders, and invoicing.

Three (3) years prior experience in aviation materials, shipping, receiving or warehousing preferred.

Advanced knowledge of materials, shipping, receiving or warehousing, plus the demonstrated ability to lead and mentor others. Proven ability to manage independent projects and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.

Experience Required • Modifications, sewing, repair, refurbishment and reinstallation of interior components are primary functions. Safely perform removal, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors (which may include galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors and panels). Must have ability to cover interior panels with leather and ultraleather. Possess a working familiarity with different seat styles typical to aircraft. Mandatory pre-employment drug test and ongoing random screening. Salary based on experience. Ability to read write, speak, and understand the English language.

Prepares exterior surface of aircraft for painting. Performs masking, stripping, washing of aircraft sections and components. Selects, blends and mixes paints, inks and coatings to specifications. Paints aircraft interior, exterior and piece parts to engineering and customer specifications. Applies aircraft finishes and external markings to sections. Coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer using brush or roller. Coats surface of parts, assemblies and finished products with protective or decorative materials. Verifies quality of work per appearance document and performs visual inspections of paint and equipment. Performs rework and touchup painting utilizing spray and brush per specifications. Operates mechanical lifts and elevated work platforms to access work. Minimum of 3 years of experienced required.

Work is between our two locations at: BCT and OPF airports. Company vehicles used to drive between two locations.

Must have experience and a high school diploma or GED. All employees must be able to pass a drug test and background screening.
